E. K. Blessing Musical Instruments are high quality instruments manufactured under the highest standards. Be assured that your E. K. Blessing instrument has undergone an in depth process of quality control. In the unlikely event there is a problem, this warranty will give you specific rights and you may also have other rights. E. K. Blessing warrants its instruments when purchased or leased from an authorized E. K. Blessing dealer to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 5-years. This warranty is limited to the person originally purchasing or leasing this instrument from an authorized E. K. Blessing dealer.
This warranty does not cover purchasers or lessees of used instruments. Warrantor will, at warrantor’s option, either repair or replace defective instrument (or defective parts), when defects occur within 5-years from date of purchase. Repairs not made by or authorized by E. K. Blessing are not covered in this limited warranty, and E. K. Blessing will not reimburse you for any services not performed under the provisions of this warranty. Pads, felts, springs and corks, as well as general maintenance and normal adjustments are not included in this warranty. This warranty does not cover oxidation or tarnishing of silver or silver-plated instruments or parts. Nor does it cover deterioration of all finishes from perspiration, high humidity, extreme temperatures, or oxidation or tarnishing from other external causes.
Dark lacquer and unlacquered instruments are intended to have a vintage or antique look, and any unevenness of lacquer is intended to contribute to this finish. Some oxidation and color change can be expected with these finishes and will enhance the vintage character of the horn. It is suggested that a soft cloth without chemicals be used after each use of the instrument. Loss of use of the instrument and any inconvenience or loss of income due to a warranty issue are not covered by this warranty.
If the instrument is defective in workmanship and/or materials, please contact the authorized E. K. Blessing dealer from whom you purchased it. The authorized dealer will contact E. K. Blessing to authorize the repair or return. The purchaser should include a note with the defective instrument or part describing the defect and give owner’s name, address and phone number, together with a copy of the original sales receipt that establishes the date and place of purchase. No warranty service will be performed unless proof of purchase from an authorized E. K. Blessing dealer has been received and an authorization to return has been issued. The instrument or part should be packed securely and returned freight prepaid.
